Are you ready? Here comes a deluge of rain, snow across Western Washington

During a break in the rain, a plane takes off from Lake Union in downtown Seattle Monday, Jan. 22, 2018. Gasworks Park is at top left, looking northeast, shot from the top of the Space Needle. Showers are predicted for the next eight days.

Drivers in the North Cascades should prepare for slippery roads and limited visibility from snow and sleet, while rain will drench lowlands across the region.
