A large stretch of Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass has reopened after multiple collisions forced its closure Thursday evening, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
I-90 closed shortly before 7 p.m., with eastbound traffic stopped at exit 34 near North Bend and westbound traffic stopped near Easton and Ellensburg.
The roadway has reopened in both directions, WSDOT posted on X just after 11:30 p.m.
“It may feel like spring in the lower elevations, but winter is very much alive in the mountains,” WSDOT posted Thursday afternoon.
