One person died and two were injured Thursday in a collision in the Kent area that closed East Valley Highway from South 277th Street north to South 266th South, according to Puget Sound Fire officials.
The road was closed all morning and had reopened by noon.
Puget Sound Fire officials said one person died in the collision and two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
