Seattle police arrested a suspected burglar early this morning after a woman discovered him inside her North Seattle home.

The woman called 911 at around 5:30 a.m. to report the stranger was inside her home in the  2500 block of Northeast 134th Street. When she confronted him, the man told her, “I’m in the wrong house,” and left, police said.

Police found the man about a block and a half from the woman’s home.  He had some of the woman’s property, police said.

The 48-year-old man was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
