Police found a man dead from a gunshot wound Saturday afternoon in a transient camp located near the 22200 block of 88th Av SE, in Kent.

Police detectives following up on leads said the killing is believed to be related to a homicide that occurred on Friday in the same area when a woman was shot dead. They are looking for a suspect described as a white male, with short reddish hair and unshaven appearance.

The suspect, who is considered armed and should not be approached by the public, may be riding a dark colored bicycle with a basket over the rear wheel and was last seen wearing a white tank-top, police said.

After the Kent Police Department received a call about 2:40 pm Saturday, the dead man was discovered in a remote location down a long drive in a wooded area.

Police said they had previously been unaware of the existence of the transient camp. The gun used in the homicides has not been recovered.
