Snowboarders, skiers compete in Rail Jam at Snoqualmie Pass

Paige Levens, 13, catches the front edge of her snowboard on the “tank” at the Rail Jam competition at Snoqualmie Summit Central. She slid forward almost looking like a planned stunt, fell off on the far side, got up and hiked up the hill for the next round. She was awarded the Sweetie Prize, which provides tacos. She’s been snowboarding three years and this is her first year competing.
