Officers are trying to identify a slain man in his 40s or 50s, whose body was noticed by a contractor clearing brush nearby.
Auburn police are investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was found in the yard of a vacant house.
A contractor noticed the body while clearing brush from a nearby lot, in the 11100 block of Southeast 304th Street, police Cmdr. Mike Hirman said Saturday night. The man, in his 40s or 50s, was not carrying identification, and did not live in the home, His wounds, which police would not describe at this point, are not self-inflicted, Hirman said.
