Northbound Interstate 5 backed up by brush fire, Seattle Fire Department says

Northbound Interstate 5 was backed up nearly 3 miles on Wednesday evening because of a brush fire.

The Seattle Fire Department said around 7:30 p.m. that the fire was on the east side of Interstate 5 near South Holgate Street and crews were working to control the blaze.

Travels should expect delays and no injuries were reported.
