Marchers on Capitol Hill tonight.

Over 125 protesters dressed in pink and black have taken to Capitol Hill streets in Seattle tonight to recognize the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and what they view as ongoing violence from the Seattle Police Department.

The protest circled from Cal Anderson park to Broadway,  East Pike Street, Eleventh Avenue East, East Pine Street and Broadway again for a “queer dance party.”

Other than the 17 baton-weilding police officers and five mounted officers blocking the area in front of  police department’s East Precinct, protesters said there had been no conflict with police. There apparently has been no damage.
