A man’s body was pulled from Elliott Bay near the Seattle Aquarium Thursday evening, police said.
A passer-by at Pier 59 saw the body floating in the water and called 911 around 6:40 p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department. The body was recovered from the water shortly before 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of Alaskan Way.
The man’s identity and cause of death will be determined by detectives and investigators from the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
