The man suffered life-threatening injuries after reportedly falling under the back wheel of the bus Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Kent police are investigating a crash Tuesday afternoon in which a Metro bus hit a pedestrian, sending him to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Around 1:40 p.m., a bus was heading northbound on 104th Avenue Southeast shortly after making a stop near Southeast 253rd Place when the man reportedly fell under its back wheel, Metro spokesman Jeff Switzer said.
The man is 38 and reportedly a transient from Florida, officials told the Kent Reporter.
A dozen people were on board the bus, Switzer said, none of whom suffered injuries.
Kent police and fire responded.
No other details were immediately available.
