The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office says an 18-year-old man has been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting.

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says an 18-year-old man has been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting.

The office says the suspect was booked Monday into Snohomish County Jail on investigation of first-degree assault and drive-by shooting.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Deputies found the victim with a gunshot wound and took him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The teen was reported in stable condition.

The suspect was arrested at about 11 p.m. Deputies found a rifle in his car and the driver’s side windows broken out.
