Seattle police arrested three teens on Monday in connection to a shooting in late January at a homeless encampment in Seattle that left two dead and three injured.

The suspects, all boys, were arrested Monday afternoon at a small homeless camp on Fourth Avenue South beneath an Interstate 90 offramp, according to police. They described the suspects as being 13, 16 and 17 years old.

Police recovered a handgun during the arrests.

Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole said at a press briefing Monday night that it’s unclear if the suspects are homeless. She emphasized that the incident was not random, and that the individuals involved knew each other. No other suspects are being sought.
