A person was stabbed near a Metro bus stop in Seattle’s Sodo area Tuesday evening, according to a Metro Transit spokesman.

After the stabbing, the victim boarded a northbound bus around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Fourth Avenue South and South Lander Street, the spokesman said. Medics were called, and the victim was presumably transported to a hospital, he said.

King County Metro Transit police, Seattle police and fire crews responded, the spokesman said. It is unclear which agency will head the investigation.

No arrests were reported, and no other details were available, including the victim’s gender.
