UPDATE, Friday 6:49 a.m. | Snohomish County sheriff’s investigators have arrested a 17-year-old boy in Everett after a four-hour standoff.
The teen, who is accused of shooting two other teens around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, is being evaluated by medics for minor injuries he may have suffered after the SWAT team used an “aerosol irritant” to force him from the condo where he was holed up, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton.
The victims, a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, were taken to Harborview Medical Center. The boy was last listed in critical condition, the girl in satisfactory condition.
Because the youth arrested is under the age of 18, Ireton said her office will not be releasing his name.
