Police are investigating a Rainier Valley assault that left a 29-year-old man dead Wednesday evening, authorities said.
Officers were called to the 6000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South at 8:47 p.m., according to Seattle 911 logs.
Life-saving measures were attempted but the man was declared dead at the hospital, police said. Seattle police spokesperson Officer Valerie Carson declined to say how the man died.
