A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide after a collision with a moped driver on Friday night in South Seattle, according to Seattle police.

The victim, a 63-year-old man, went to Harborview Medical Center but died of his injuries, says a news release. Police say the suspect was intoxicated but offered no details.

The suspect tried to turn his van right onto South Bayview Street where the victim was driving his scooter through the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Bayview Street.
