UPDATE, 10:45 a.m. | Closed Friday after receiving a threat on social media, the International School in Bellevue will be open again on Monday, Feb. 23, principal Jennifer Rose said.
The school will be on a planned vacation for mid-winter break next week.
ORIGINAL POST | The International School in Bellevue was closed Friday after the school received a threat over social media.
Bellevue police Detective Amanda Jensen said that officers were contacted after someone saw the threat on social media on Thursday night. A juvenile, who she believes is a student at the school, was arrested on Friday morning.

Jensen declined to release any additional information, saying the case was under investigation.
The school, on its website, said:
“Thursday evening Bellevue Police Department received notice of a possible threat to the International School campus. Due to the nature of the reported threat International School has been closed and will remain closed today, Friday, February 13. Bellevue Police has made an arrest related to the incident and continues to investigate. No further details will be released at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.”
