Two groups began shooting at each other in the parking lot of a Tukwila KFC, injuring two men.

A Thursday night shooting outside a Tukwila fast-food restaurant left two men injured, with one in critical condition, according to a Tukwila Police Department news release.

Investigators went to KFC in the 15000 block of Tukwila International Boulevard at about 9:45 p.m. after reports of shots being fired, police said.

The shooting started in the KFC parking lot during an argument between two groups of young men, according to the release. At some point, the groups began firing at each other in what witnesses described as a “gunfight.”

After being shot, one man ran across the street and collapsed in front of Taco Time. Emergency medical personnel took him to a hospital with critical injuries, police said. A second man was treated for a minor injury.

The names of the victims have not yet been released. No suspects in the shooting have been identified.

Tukwila police detectives continue to investigate.
