Washington State Ferries says a two-boat schedule is in effect; repairs on F/V Issaquah are under way.
One of the three ferries serving the Fauntleroy-Vashon-Southworth route is out of service and Washington State Ferries says to expect delays.
Ian Sterling, the state ferries public information officer, said the ferry Issaquah was taken out of service for repairs Sunday. A two-ferry schedule is in effect until further notice, he said. The traveling public is urged to check the WSF website or its Twitter feed for additional information.
The F/V Issaquah was built in 1978, is 328 feet long and can carry up to 124 vehicles. Sterling said there was no immediate estimate as to when the ferry would return to service.
