The FBI says he is responsible for at least four bank robberies in Seattle and Federal Way since Feb. 5.
The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying a wig-wearing bank robber dubbed the “Thug in a Rug Bandit.”
The man is responsible for at least four bank robberies in Federal Way and Seattle since Feb. 5, according to the FBI and Federal Way police. Based on surveillance videos, he is white, about 5-feet-8 to 6 feet tall, thin, may have blue eyes and is 30 to 40 years old.
The man has worn a wig during the robberies. In a June 3 robbery in Seattle, he also had a black mustache. The FBI says he has a possible deformity or twitch in his right eye.

• May 24 at the Unibank on Pacific Highway South in Federal Way;
• June 3 at the HomeStreet Bank on 35th Avenue Northeast in Seattle.
Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information on the Thug in a Rug Bandit.
