The Cascade High School student is accused of threatening a fellow student on social media.
An 18-year-old Everett high-school student has been arrested for threatening a classmate on Snapchat, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect and victim, also 18, attend Cascade High School.
The victim, who was interviewed Tuesday night, told deputies he received a Snapchat photo of an assault rifle and a pistol from the suspect, along with a threatening message.
The victim said he also received a video of the Columbine High School shooting, followed by a photo of what appeared to be two males wearing masks and holding the assault rifle and pistol.

While deputies were interviewing the victim he received additional threatening messages from the suspect, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Deputies found the suspect along with two other males at a home at the 1200 block of Madrona Avenue.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect told deputies that the guns in the photos were Airsoft guns.
The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of stalking and felony harassment.
The other two males cooperated with deputies and were not been arrested.
