A gas station clerk shot and killed an alleged robber before midnight Monday, according to the Auburn Police Department.
A 19-year-old man was found dead in the parking lot of station at Auburn Way South and Second Street Southeast when police arrived, said department spokesperson Kolby Crossley. A gun was found near the man, Crossley said.
The clerk is cooperating with the police investigation, Crossley said.
The identity of the 19-year-old will be released by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
