Two passengers are dead and a driver has been arrested after a single-car rollover crash Saturday night near Skyway, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The 20-year-old driver, a 17-year-old and a third unidentified male were riding on Highway 900 approaching 57th Avenue South about 9:40 p.m. Saturday when the driver lost control of the vehicle, according to a State Patrol report. The car left the road and rolled over, killing both passengers. All three were wearing seat belts.
The driver was arrested for investigation of two counts of vehicular homicide. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved, according to the report.
The crash closed traffic for about four hours. A State Patrol spokesperson was not immediately available to answer additional questions.
