Last night, I jumped on a Double Tall Community Transit bus to get home. This route is served by double-decker buses that are usually less crowded than Sound Transit buses.

One reason for that may be the fare. To reach the same destination I can reach via Sound Transit, I have to pay 75 cents more if I catch a Community Transit bus. But occasionally, on cold and rainy days, if a Community Transit bus arrives at my stop in downtown Seattle before my regular Sound Transit bus does, I fork over the extra money for a chance to ride more comfortably.

From the top deck, I find it relaxing to look down on the flow of traffic all around. On rainy nights like this, traffic lights cast rapidly changing reflections on the wet pavement as I try to capture the scene on my iPad.
