Using GPS and other smart technology, it tracks the stats of your running, biking or walking workout (time, distance, speed, heart rate and calories burned) while also storing up to 4,000 songs to get you pumped — creating a customized playlist based on the music that motivates you most.

You can sync the device with your computer to upload various stats to the device’s website, which includes an analysis of your performance data. It even offers fitness tips and training strategies from experts in the field.

The device is sweat and rain resistant, with a scratch-resistant 1.6-inch glass touch-screen that displays full color. You can wear it as a wristband or armband, or clip it to your shirt or other gear. Tired of listening to downloaded songs? The device also includes an FM radio for additional variety. Its 3.5 mm headphones (USB 2.0 connections) allow audible readout of built-in heart rate monitors. If you have an Android smartphone, the MOTOACTV also allows you to answer calls and receive texts. Battery can play music for up to 20 hours and can track workouts for up to 10 hours indoors and 5 hours outdoors. Device weighs approximately 1.2 ounces.
