A man accused of stealing nearly $16,000 worth of gasoline when he worked for the Douglas County Public Utility District pleaded guilty to theft Monday in Wenatchee.

A man accused of stealing nearly $16,000 worth of gasoline when he worked for the Douglas County Public Utility District pleaded guilty to theft Monday in Wenatchee.

Mark W. Morrison was a lineman for the PUD and was accused of buying the gas with a fuel account card stolen from a utility vehicle.

The Wenatchee World reports (http://is.gd/QybhL3) he was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay restitution.
