EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A fire that burned an Everett home has left 16 people without a place to live.
KOMO reports the fire broke out just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters arrived to find large flames coming from the back of the home, but all 16 people inside had escaped safely and there were no injuries.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, which appeared to have started in a rear storage area along the backside of the home. The Red Cross is helping those displaced find a temporary place to live.
