She was inside a house, when a bullet went through the front door.
A 15-year-old girl was recovering Saturday night after being shot in Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting about 8:15 p.m. at a residential address in the 3800 block of East Superior Street, on a hillside above Lake Washington. Medics took the teen to Harborview Medical Center. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
A party had been held at the home earlier in the evening, according to police, who added that several people who had not been invited were asked to leave. A short time later, three to five shots were fired from outside. The teenager was standing inside the house when she was struck by a bullet that went through the front door.
