Some 650 local students attended the open house Tuesday. Brain Awareness Week is a national event to promote the public and personal benefits of brain research.
This year’s event, held at the Husky Union Building, helped the students learn about the brain through hands-on stations and a lecture by Eric H. Chudler, Ph.D., a research associate professor in the UW Department of Bioengineering and executive director of the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering.
