More than 20 new citizens took the Oath of Allegiance during Flag Day Celebration activities at City Hall in Seattle.

Flag Day Celebration activities at City Hall in Seattle on Sunday included a naturalization ceremony to welcome more than 20 new citizens.

The event, hosted by OneAmerica’s Washington New Americans program, also featured activities for kids, food demonstrations from Project Feast and music by Afro-Cuban group Bembe Olele.

Flag Day celebrates the anniversary of the adoption of the United States flag, which occurred June 14, 1777.
