Woodland Park Zoo’s triplet lion cubs, all males, took a short tour Thursday morning outside their den. With the moderate weather, zoo keepers have allowed the cubs out to explore their surroundings. The 2½- month-old cubs were born Oct. 24 to 5-year-old mother, Adia, and 7-year-old father, Xerxes, and weighed 3 pounds at birth. Brief outdoor introduction will continue through February or March. The outdoor tours will be random and not announced in advance.
