After spending two years catering to the desires of the oil, gas and coal industries, Ryan Zinke, President Donald Trump’s first Secretary of the Interior, left his job in a flurry of ethics investigations. The man nominated to be Zinke’s successor is even closer to those special interests, having been a long-time lobbyist for the titans of the energy industry. Once again, the president who pledged to drain the swamp in Washington, D.C., has dipped into that swamp to find a new member of his cabinet.
