See what people at Tuesday's LiveWire panel discussion had to say about global warming and what our region should be doing to mitigate it.
Five climate-change experts participated in a panel discussion at the University of Washington on Tuesday that addressed the economic impacts of climate change. The event was part of The Seattle Times’ ongoing LiveWire series and was moderated by Times environment reporter Lynda Mapes.
Before the program began, we asked a handful of attendees to share their ideas on what our region should be doing to deal with global warming and prevent further harm.
In order of appearance, they are Phyllis Brunner of Seattle, Christen Kaufman of University Place, Seth Lockheart of Redmond, and Marian Wineman of Seattle.
