All climate skeptics should read “Where’s the future of clean energy? Right here in Washington.”

Authored by Larry Brown, president of the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, and Scott Farris, manager of government and regulatory affairs for EDP Renewables, the world’s fourth-largest developer of renewable power, it hits the nail on the head exactly regarding a clean-energy economy combating global warming and producing more good-paying jobs in the process — three times more jobs than in a fossil-fuel economy.

If this doesn’t convince the climate skeptics to accept the reality of global warming and that we have a viable way of combating it, then they’re clinging to the past, afraid to face the future. That future has to be clean energy if we are to have a livable, sustainable planet for ourselves and future generations.
