The Israeli Prime Minister has, postelection, changed his mind — again — (at least publicly) about the two-state solution to peace between Israel and the Palestinians [“Obama takes Netanyahu ‘at his word’ on Palestinian state,” Nation & World, March 21]. He strongly opposed that solution in his successful re-election run.
Then throw in his fear-mongering congressional speech (stunt?) that got worldwide attention just before that election, in hopes of bettering his chance at re-election.
With a track record of flip-flopping and fear mongering for political expediency, has he not made himself eminently qualified to eventually become an elected member of the U.S. Congress? Seems like he would fit right in. Only the pesky “birther” issue would prevent him from becoming president.
