Seattle has a shortage of housing, and an overabundance of office space. In the past, when warehouses became obsolete, housing was introduced. Where there is creativity, there are always means to transform a building’s function.

The city of Seattle can modify unused office space and create housing. Infrastructure and parking already exist for many locations in downtown Seattle. This would improve outlying neighborhoods and create less congested transportation routes.

Downtown work-live spaces and affordable housing? Yes, please!
