We have a statewide homeless problem. Gov. Jay Inslee should assign a Washington state homeless director.
Washington state has multiple agencies duplicating work. This is not a wise use of funds. There should be one captain of the ship.
House people across the state of Washington. Build some dorms for the homeless. Enforce a no-camping policy. Offer to employ the homeless to clean up tent areas.
Offer psychiatric and substance-abuse counseling. For those who don’t want to be sheltered, offer them a bus ticket out of the state.
