Re: “‘Disheartening’ rise in King County gun violence has already surpassed 2020’s record toll” [Oct. 12, Local News]:

The recent data from the Shots Fired Project is alarming — more deaths already than all of 2020! Yet again, there is the absence of the full focus on steps to reduce this violence and the cause of it. Economic insecurity, isolation, other pandemic related effects, yes, that is true.

I have yet to see any focus on anger management, teaching people to resolve their anger without picking up a gun and shooting someone. I get angry, yet I have never even considered shooting someone for it. And we must strive even harder to limit the access and numbers of guns out there.
