Perhaps the University of Washington could save itself a lot of time and trouble by putting a simple question on its admission application: “Are you a Republican or a conservative?”
Either deny the applicant admission, or, if the applicant is accepted, provide a disclaimer that states, “The university discourages any conservative students from forming any type of Republican club because the university cannot guarantee their safety or their right to free expression while on campus.”
But that would be discriminatory, wouldn’t it?
