Republicans are busy shredding the Constitution and slashing the federal workforce but all Rep. Adam Smith seems to do is critique progressives and leftists for not embracing right-wing talking points.
I understand he bristles at the accusation, but I do think it’s racist to accuse the left of “radical identity politics” as if the Republican embrace of white supremacy is not a significantly more dangerous form of identity politics.
If Smith has such contempt for the voters of Washington, who roundly rejected the Trump agenda in the last election, why doesn’t he move to his imaginary Midwest where the voters he likes live?
