I have lived now my 86 years and counting in the U.S. My mom and folks came from Germany to escape the financial meltdown, the great inflation of 1923. She was not yet a citizen when I was born. Does the latest screed from our president mean that I have to go back to Hamburg, Germany? It could be worse — they do have the opera, parks, a fantastic zoo and comprehensive medical care.
As for the president’s youngest son, Slovenia also has electricity and running water, picturesque cities and colorful countryside. He should do all right.
