Kudos to Op-Ed writer Al Levine [“Steel modular units for homeless,” Opinion, Oct. 4] for promoting the modular units that OneBuild could provide the homeless of Seattle.

His suggestions for how this could be accomplished are completely reasonable. I’m also glad he put the responsibility for achieving this squarely on the political will and generosity of the whole community — where it belongs.

It is unrealistic to think that any one governing authority within the city can perform all the logistical parts of this effort. He is correct to include public, private, nonprofit, faith-based and philanthropic communities as the combined source of what it would take to provide housing.

Thank you Levine for such a well-reasoned approach to this situation.
