Seattle is a boomtown where housing prices are high and good-paying jobs in cutting-edge industries are plentiful. The downside is that people in minimum-wage jobs are being priced out of the city, and the businesses that need workers to do the tasks that are not well rewarded are finding it increasingly more difficult to find and retain employees. Restaurants are feeling this pinch. Soon, all those affluent Amazon whiz kids may show up at a pricey cafe and find no one to wait on them. Anyone ready to do their own dishes?
