GIG HARBOR — Bayview at Gig Harbor is a luxury gated community by Toll Brothers that features picturesque views and a serene location.
The community celebrates its grand opening on Feb. 18 with lattés served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch and tours of the facilities across the street at the Canterwood Golf and Country Club from noon to 3 p.m.
Nestled on a hillside in Gig Harbor, the 40-home community offers westerly views of Henderson Bay and the Olympic Mountains. Homes are priced from $635,000.
“This is a gorgeous, gated-entry community surrounded by trees and featuring lovely views,” says Kristi Brewer, the community sales manager. “In the evenings, you see spectacular sunsets, and the neighborhood has a very tranquil feel, even though it’s convenient to many amenities.”
Bayview at Gig Harbor is located just to the north of Harbor Hill, which offers grocery stores and retail shopping centers. The Canterwood Golf and Country Club has a fitness center, swimming pool and dining options.
“All of our homeowners will receive a one-year Canterwood athletic/social membership,” Brewer says.
Homesites range in size from 6,000 to 10,000 square feet, and there are several floor plans to choose from to maximize views. Homes have four or five bedrooms and two- or three-car garages. The floor plans range from 2,775 to 4,000 square feet and have two stories, two stories with daylight basement, and three stories with a three-car garage and media room — “a unique plan to take advantage of views,” Brewer says.
Three home designs offer options for a master bedroom on the main floor.
“Each of our floor plans have two to four exterior façades, so if you want a very traditional home or a Northwest contemporary, you can personalize the look,” Brewer says. “Each home is going to feel very unique.”
Based on customer feedback, Toll Brothers will offer an option for a covered outdoor patio and outdoor fireplace at Bayview at Gig Harbor, she says. “They have these incredible multi-panel stacking glass doors that disappear into the wall and open up to make the outdoors part of the living and entertainment space.”
There is a community park with an outdoor workout area, playground and picnic tables.
Finishes at Bayview at Gig Harbor will include slab granite countertops in the kitchens and master baths, iron balusters on the staircases, Kohler fixtures and KitchenAid appliances with five-burner gas ranges.
“It’s definitely the royal treatment for our customers, who are invited to visit our design center in Kirkland to work with a professional designer to select all of their finishes,” Brewer says. “During the building process, we stay in regular communication with our customers and update them as their home progresses.
“Our goal, from the minute they come into our sales center, is to give them the best service possible. We want them to feel like part of the family and that they are getting the home of their dreams.”
