BOTHELL — The last two view homes with two-story floor plans at the at Parkhurst community remain for sale.
Tucked into a tree-lined alcove, the homes feature the builder’s Tacoma and Georgia plans, which include five bedrooms and open-concept main-floor layouts.
“The Tacoma and the Georgia present a two-fold opportunity,” says Susan Meadows, the sales manager at Parkhurst. “Buyers still have time to personalize their home with custom flooring, cabinetry, countertops and paint colors at our design studio in Kirkland. And, they can look forward to moving in by the end of the summer. For most new construction, buyers have to wait at least a year from the time of purchase to completion.”
The Tacoma is a 3,167-square-foot floor plan with three bathrooms and a three-car garage. An open kitchen has a center island with breakfast bar, and a walk-in pantry is also included.
The family room is lined with windows that frame views of surrounding mature trees for privacy and seclusion. It also has a separate living/dining room space.
“The Tacoma is a great house, especially for residents who desire a main-floor bedroom,” says Meadows. “If you have elderly parents who need to live with you or stay for extended periods, the Tacoma is an attractive choice.”
The Tacoma’s other four bedrooms are on the second floor, including a master bedroom with an oversize walk-in closet and adjacent master bath. There is an open loft on this level that can be used as a TV lounge, study area or playroom.
Parkhurst’s other remaining two-story home, the Georgia, also features three bathrooms and a three-car garage. It has 2,775 square feet of living space with a main-floor bedroom and an open-concept great room.
“The Georgia offers a similar configuration to the Tacoma, but without the formal living and dining area, which some buyers prefer,” says Meadows. “Upstairs highlights include a fantastic open loft, convenient laundry and a luxurious master bedroom with a large walk-in closet, as well as two additional closets.”
Homebuyers visiting Parkhurst can tour the community’s model, the Enatai, for ideas on décor and upgrades. It is a fully decorated home with lighting, cabinetry, furniture and designer finishes.
Parkhurst is located in the Northshore School District and near the University of Washington Bothell campus. It is situated up the hill from the Village at Beardslee Crossing, which includes the Beardslee Public House, Starbucks, Potbelly sandwich shop and Chinoise, a newly opened sushi restaurant.
“The location is unbeatable, and so is the freeway access to 405 and 522,” says Meadows. “Commuters love that it’s so easy to get to Bellevue, downtown Seattle, Kirkland, Everett and Woodinville.”
