Saturday’s celebration at Pipers Glen in Bothell will mark the unveiling of the Aldrich, a fully decorated 4,930-square-foot model home.
BOTHELL — Live jazz, made-to-order beignets, an espresso stand offering a variety of coffee drinks, and carnival mask-making are all on tap at this weekend’s New Orleans-themed event at Pipers Glen.
Saturday’s grand-opening celebration will also mark the unveiling of the Aldrich, a fully decorated 4,930-square-foot model home.
The Aldrich model debuts the outdoor-living options offered by the builder at Pipers Glen, Toll Brothers. Multi-paned sliding glass doors that span nearly a full wall in the home’s great room open to a tiered entertainer’s deck with barbecue, prep station and fireplace. A second covered outdoor space offers access from the Aldrich’s daylight basement and includes a lounge area with built-in fireplace and an outdoor firepit.
“Toll Brothers has so much experience creating one-of-a-kind outdoor-living spaces in warm areas,” says Stephanie Schuessler, the community sales representative. “Now there’s a demand for these spaces in the Pacific Northwest, so people can enjoy the fresh air and be outside even in the rainy season.”
Schuessler says that outdoor-living options are available on many of the 16 home designs at Pipers Glen. Homebuyers can also personalize their homes with cabinetry, countertops, paint colors, carpeting and more at the builder’s design studio in Kirkland.
The Aldrich model has five bedrooms and 3.5 baths, and showcases designer features by Mana Lanning of Ryan Young Interiors.
“The home incorporates transitional classic pieces and a blush, grey and white color palette with pops of burgundy,” says Lanning. “Homebuyers will be enchanted by the box-beam ceilings in the great room, the unique herringbone wood wall treatment, extensive white wainscoting and luxurious crystal lighting fixtures.”
Additional highlights in the Aldrich include a curved staircase in the foyer; formal living and dining rooms; an open kitchen with an eating nook; and a private library with French-door entry.
The daylight basement is an entertainer’s haven with a pool table, a media fireplace that incorporates four TVs, an expansive wine cellar and a guest bedroom.
“Blurring the lines between interior and exterior, the Aldrich has so many living spaces and opportunities to live and play,” Schuessler says. “It also has four bedrooms all together on the second floor with the option to add a fifth, which is rare to find in a home.”
She encourages visitors to tour the community during this weekend’s New Orleans-style festival. “Our weekend event will be a really fun way for us to show the public how to enjoy this home. Visitors will also be able to view additional floor plans and see our generous homesites averaging 9,600 square feet.”
Pipers Glen is located minutes from downtown Bothell and offers convenient access to the University of Washington Bothell campus and I-405.
The community is served by the Northshore School District, including Moorlands Elementary, Northshore Junior High and Inglemoor High School.
