BOTHELL — Two premium homesites were released for sale recently at Parkhurst. Homes on the sites will feature the Georgia Traditional and the Tacoma Shingle floor plans, both of which include daylight basements.
The Georgia Traditional with basement is a six-bedroom, four-bath home that includes a three-car garage. It will back to the Parkhurst community park and has views of the Cascade Mountains.
The home’s great room opens to the kitchen, which creates an open floor plan that is ideal for entertaining. The kitchen includes a center island, breakfast bar and pantry, and an adjoining nook includes desk access.
There is also a bedroom with en suite on the main floor. “Our homeowners love this floor plan feature,” says Dori Rea-Doble, the community sales manager at Parkhurst. “It offers easy guest access and is perfect for visitors who have difficulty going up and down stairs.”

The second floor of the Georgia includes a master bedroom with a double-door entry, tray ceiling and dual closets. The master bath has a dual-sink vanity, oversize soaking tub, separate glass-enclosed shower and private water closet.
There are three additional bedrooms and an open loft, which provides an alternative living space or TV/game room.
“This home also offers a walkout lower level,” says Rea-Doble. “The daylight basement has another guest bedroom with an oversize walk-in closet, perfect for guests or families with teenage or college-age children.”
Parkhurst’s second available home is the Tacoma Shingle with daylight basement. It is situated on a 14,152-square-foot homesite, which Rea-Doble says is one of the largest in the community.
The Tacoma Shingle features six bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a first-floor guest en suite, and a daylight basement. The porch leads to a foyer, which opens to a formal living room and sunlit dining room.
“There is also a really spacious great room and an expansive chef’s kitchen,” says Rea-Doble. “Families can easily prepare meals on the island and enjoy them at the convenient breakfast nook.”
Other home highlights include a master bedroom with double-door entry, a second-floor loft, and a basement with bonus room and guest suite.
Buyers at Parkhurst can work with an interior designer to personalize their homes by choosing paint colors, flooring, cabinetry and more.
The community includes 59 homes with southeasterly views of the Cascade Mountains. It is located in the Northshore School District and is near the University of Washington’s Bothell campus.
Major employment centers are also nearby, and there is convenient access to Interstate 405. Parkhurst is 5 minutes from retail options in Bothell.
“People love the location,” says Rea-Doble. “There is a little village right below our community with a Starbucks, John Howie’s new Beardslee Public House, a Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt and a men’s hair salon. It’s so close, you can walk to it.”
