SAMMAMISH — In many new-construction communities, the completion time on a typical home is between 12 and 18 months. At Woodhaven, builder Toll Brothers is releasing four quick-delivery homes that will be available for move-in by the end of the year.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for homebuyers, and we’ve seen interest increase because of it,” says Jim Summers, the community sales manager. “Not only do homebuyers get to move into their homes quickly, but the community is filling out, so they’ll start to meet their neighbors right away.”
One of the quick-delivery homes, the Stuart with shingle-style façade, is available for move-in as early as October. A second Stuart floor plan with a farmhouse façade will be available in November.
A popular floor plan for entertaining, the Stuart offers 2,866 square feet of living space, including a main level with open spaces that are ideal for large gatherings.
“There is really a spacious feeling to the Stuart’s great room, which flows into the dining area,” says Summers. “From there, you can walk out to a covered patio that’s large enough for a barbecue and dining. People want to spend more time outside and this design offers that beautiful outdoor-living option.”
The Stuart kitchen boasts a center island and walk-in pantry. There is a drop zone on the main floor that features a built-in desk that is ideal for home management.
The Stuart’s upper floor has four bedrooms, as well as a bonus loft that can be designed as a work-at-home office, small play area or secondary living space.
“The professional designers at our Kirkland Design Studio have made some incredible choices on these homes — the details on the interiors are stunning,” says Summers. “Homebuyers also have the opportunity to work with our designers to add personal touches to their homes.”
Summers adds that in addition to the Stuart quick-delivery homes, a Shaw home and a Kingston home will be move-in ready by November and December, respectively.
In addition, there are 11 presale homes available in a variety of floor plans. Presale homes offer the opportunity to lock in prices in a market where they are increasing, he says.
“We have a great selection of homes, many with greenbelt privacy, in a very walkable, peaceful community,” says Summers. “It’s just so quiet. It’s a nice retreat when you drive down the road to Woodhaven. You just feel like you’re going to a special place.”
Woodhaven has two community parks that feature children’s play areas, picnic tables, and grassy play lawns. It is located in the Lake Washington School District, with access to Rachel Carson Elementary School, Inglewood Middle School and Eastlake High School.
“If you were to drive out from Woodhaven, in less than a mile you are at the elementary and junior high,” says Summers. “In less than another mile you’re at the town center, which is close to the high school. The location is unbeatable.”
