BELLEVUE — Belvedere has released for sale its final homes, one of which features the McCartney with Basement design, a Gold Nugget award-winning floor plan.
The McCartney with Basement has 5,246 square feet of living space, including six bedrooms, 4.5 baths and a three-car garage. Homebuyers are encouraged to get a feel for the design by visiting the community and touring the decorated model home.
Elegant columns frame an entry foyer that leads to one of the home’s most-talked-about features: a distinctive two-story great room with an adjoining two-story dining room.
“It’s beautiful — a great space for entertaining,” says Belvedere sales manager Dana Heyum. “It has huge, extended windows that allow in a lot of natural light, giving it a great energy and sense of spaciousness.”
Overlooking the great room is the gourmet kitchen, which boasts an oversize island, walk-in pantry and a roomy nook. There is a separate study and a main-level princess suite for guests.
The McCartney’s lower level provides an additional space for casual entertaining, with the possibility for a wet bar, media room or pool table. There is also a den and a bedroom, which is ideal for multigenerational families or out-of-town guests.
On the second floor, there is a sitting area that overlooks the great room, which could be converted into an office or homework area with built-ins. “It’s my favorite part of the home,” says Heyum. “It’s a large home, but to me it feels cozy because you can talk from upstairs to downstairs.”
There are four bedrooms on the upper level. The master bedroom features a tray ceiling, two walk-in closets and a master bath with dual-sink vanity, spacious tub, separate shower and private toilet area.
Built by Toll Brothers, the homes at Belvedere can be personalized to suit the buyers’ tastes. Designers from the Kirkland Design Studio will meet with each homebuyer to discuss paint colors, hardwood flooring choices, cabinetry, lighting and more.
“Two-tone cabinetry is very popular,” says Heyum. “People like doing the island a different color than the cabinets. Quite a few use the advice of our designers to get creative with the tile, particularly in the backsplashes in their bathrooms.”
The homes at Belvedere also feature views of Puget Sound, the Seattle city skyline and the Olympic Mountains.
Belvedere is located in the Issaquah School District and is served by Cougar Ridge Elementary School, Issaquah Middle School and Issaquah High School. It is bordered on three sides by more than 3,100 acres of Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland for a peaceful, resort-like lifestyle minutes from urban amenities.
